After the rollout of jellybean for Xperia J and Xperia TL , Sony xperia S owners were beginning to worry whether they will even get a jellybean upgrade or no. According to previous reprts Sony Xperia S JellyBean rollout was scheduled for April this year but with several, apparently lower end devices like the Xperia J and Xperia TL had started making the owners of last years sony flagship Xperia S, a little restless.

Questions began to be asked every now and then, and sony apparently has responded. In a tweet by Sony Xperia Germany , Sony Xperia S  will get JellyBean in March. Sony has slowly but steadily started rolling out the jellybean updates for other devices and it looks more and more likely that the Sony Xperia S will get JellyBean in March.

All this is based on a tweet sent out by Sony Mobile Germany, so you could say it’s official information. Then again, we know how tricky “social media” can be nowadays, meaning the ETA is definitely not set in stone yet.

Worst-case scenario, Sony’s German branch is wrong and we go back to the old schedule, according to which the Xperia S was due for an update in April. Which would still not be awful, would it?
